Hand made wooden spoon and spatula, shaped with an axe from a bit of firewood, shared round the camp fire, one night at Stonehenge. Carved with knives, sanded, tied with hemp cord and finished with food safe mineral oil. (this mineral oil is not sustainable, later products are finished with a sustainable linseed oil)
These to two items symbol the beginning of a journey for me, I had been on a forestry weekend at Tinkers Bubble, I had caught the spoon making bug from other volunteers and using my new knifes with no previous training in spoon making, whilst sat round the fire contemplating the universe at Stonehenge, I set out to see what I could make.
The price tag is reflective of the sentimental value they have to me.
Postage: Royal Mail, UK mainland, signed for, £4.10 2nd Class and £4.70 1st class packaging is all 2nd hand, recycled or reclaimed.
